Bouldering in the cold – Dartmoor

After last weeks bouldering at Bonehill and Hound tor in my T-shirt it was a bit of a rude awakening to find myself in full winter thermals trying to find routes that were out of the wind at Tunhill on Friday. British Mountain Guides Induction – Skiing, Ice and Avalanche

It’s been a little while since the last blog entry, but I’ve had a good couple of weeks skiing in the Alps as part of my induction into the British Mountain Guides Scheme. We had a three day Ski Technique course followed by a one day assessment in Leysin in Switzerland.
