Advanced Dartmoor Navigation Course

Vent du Dragon – a nice bit of mixed climbing

Had a superb climb on the north face of the Aiguille du Midi on Monday, with two fellow British Mountain Guides, Rob Jarvis and Andy Perkins. “Vent du Dragon” a good short mixed climb accessed by abseil. I took a lot of footage with my new helmet camera, but I appear to have filmed the side of my jacket for most of the climb! Anyway, it was really good to get out and swing the tools again. South West moorland leader training course

Just finished running another good training course at the Dartmoor Centres. Alongside Matt and Simon who were also instructing, we had seven folk from around Devon who were involved with various organisations including Ten Tors teams, D of E, walking groups and Dartmoor pony trekking!
