Some great snow high up today. Tom, Mike, Duncan and I skied the Petit Envers variation of the Vallee Blanche which had some really good skiing and was nice and quiet.

Still pretty thin snow cover with a few rocks lower down and crevasses to avoid higher up. It looked better than the classic route anyway, which has some big icy crevasses in the lower reaches.

It’s due to snow over the next 24hrs in Chamonix, which should improve conditions a lot.
