I finally got around to climbing another classic route that I should’ve climbed years ago today. “Savage Slit in Coire An Lochain is the line of the crag and a good thrutch or a brave bridge depending on the fear factor and technique.
It was hard work getting out of bed after the long drive up from Devon yesterday, which was had been a long hard slog in bad weather.
Lou was keen though, so we went to “have a look” and after breaking trail to Lochain we had the pick of the crag and as it was pretty windy up on the tops so Savage Slit was a good option as you can abseil off from the tops.
It lived up to it’s three star reputation, and it was a wild windy day as well so it was quite memorable.
