It’s fantastic stable weather here in Chamonix at the moment, and although the sun is blasting the snow there is still some good snow in the shade, and fresh tracks to be had if your prepared to put the effort in to get there.
Over the col du Forclaz in Switzerland there’s a few good ski tours. The Pointe Ronde is a bit of a climb from the road at 1545m but the north facing valley is a great ski at the top after a scenic skin.
